The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force Program is an initiative of the United States Department of Justice through the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP). Across the nation, local ICAC task forces are comprised of state, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies. These task forces were developed in response to an increase in computer sex crimes and online child sexual exploitation, and they are intended to track down, identify, and prosecute internet predators and to eradicate child pornography.

Lawsuit Filed After Fatal Team Bus Accident in Oklahoma

A week and a half ago, the North Central Texas College softball team played in Oklahoma against Southern Nazarene University. As they were headed home after the game, an oncoming 18-wheeler veered across the median, slamming into the van carrying the team members. The truck, which investigators said showed no sign of braking or evasive action prior to the collision, sheared off one side of the van and caused it to roll, killing four girls and severely injuring several others.

Firearm Restraining Order Law Allows Family Members to Request Gun Seizure

OHP Trooper Arrested for Sexual Assault

In late July, Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Eric Roberts was suspended after a woman reported that the trooper pulled her over in a traffic stop, took her to a remote location, and raped her. After a couple of weeks had passed with no arrest, his accuser named Roberts in a lawsuit alleging rape.
